Spring finally feels like it has arrived, and these spring days in photos capture the slower, quieter moments we’ve been enjoying lately.
Stepping into the season

Spring 2025 pose
I wanted to capture a simple moment—just one of my work outfits and a version of me as I am right now.
I don’t feel drastically different this spring, but I do feel like myself. Present, grounded, and moving through the days as they come. In a way, this season feels like growth—but not in a loud or obvious way. Just something quiet, like nature doing its thing.
Slower days at home

Rainy days have felt peaceful lately.
They’ve become a time to slow down, reflect, and sometimes catch up on my blog. At home, we keep things simple—sitting on the floor, playing with toys, just being in the moment.
There’s a calm that comes with the rain. A pause. It slows everything down in the best way.
A small moment to myself

Most mornings after I drop my daughter off, I’ll stop and pick up a drink—my current go-to is an iced lavender cream chai with oat milk.
It’s a small thing, but it feels like a break. A quiet moment to myself before the day continues.
Some days, it’s simply about getting out of the house and having that little bit of comfort.
Her little world

My daughter is playing in her room
This was one of those moments that just made me stop and take it in.
She was playing with her toys, completely in her own world, pretending they were jelly beans. Watching her imagination at work warms my heart in a way that’s hard to explain.
It’s these small, everyday moments that stay with me.
The signs are there

daffodils sprouting
Lately, I’ve been noticing the daffodils starting to sprout in the garden.
It’s a quiet reminder that spring is here—and that summer isn’t too far behind. I don’t always stop and take it all in, but I notice it in passing… and it’s enough to shift something.
Brighter days

blue skies spring 2025
On the days when the sky is clear and blue, everything feels lighter.
I feel more alive, more motivated. We get out more—more walks, more time at the park, more fresh air.
Even the mornings feel easier now. Less effort, less layering, just stepping outside without thinking twice.
Growing something new

This year, we’re continuing with lettuce, radishes, and herbs, while getting ready to set up our hydroponic system.
It’s still new, but exciting. Something to build and look forward to.
I’ve come to enjoy the evening watering—it’s a simple routine, but one that feels grounding. And with plans to help my mum in her garden too, it feels like a season of growing in more ways than one.
Life lately

Right now, my wellies are part of everyday life.
With all the rain we’ve had, the ground is constantly muddy, so they’ve become more about practicality than anything else. Just another small part of daily life this time of year.
Closing
This season, I’m looking forward to getting out more, being productive, and helping my mum in the garden.
These spring days in photos may feel simple, but they’re the moments I know I’ll look back on.
More than anything, I want to be present.
To enjoy the slower moments, the small routines, and everything in between.
Because these days—however simple they may seem—are the ones that quietly stay with you.
