We spent the afternoon exploring Prescott Ribfest, checking out local vendors, enjoying some good food, and taking in the riverfront views.

As a mum, I've realized it's often these smaller outings that become the memories I treasure most.

Nothing extravagant. Just a fun day together.

Kids' birthday parties are a whole experience when you're a mum 😅

You arrive with the gift, jacket, shoes, water bottle, and somehow still feel like you've forgotten something.
There are balloons, happy kids, lots of noise, a little bit of chaos, and somehow McDonald's fries end up becoming your lunch too.

But watching your child have the best time makes it all worth it 🤍

Today felt like a mix of everything.
Daycare drop-off. Helping my mum get the garden ready for spring. Moving benches, ornaments, chairs out from the garage. Trying to fit in blog work during quieter moments of the day.

And honestly… this is exactly why blogging works so well for mums.

It doesn’t need to happen all at once. You build it slowly. Between errands, routines, coffee breaks, school runs, and ordinary life.

I think a lot of people assume blogging requires huge amounts of free time or a perfectly curated life — but most of us are building things quietly in the middle of real life 🤍

If you’ve ever thought about starting something of your own, this is your reminder that you do NOT need perfection to begin.
